Ingredients

1 kg pork belly

1 tsp Spencers Chopped Garlic

1 tsp Spencers Grated Ginger

1 tsp Spencers Chinese Five Spice

½ cup brown sugar

3 tbsp soy sauce

4 spring onions, chopped

½ cup coriander, roughly chopped

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C or 180°C fan forced.

  2. Cut pork belly into 3 cm pieces and place in a large bowl. In a separate bowl combine garlic, ginger, five spice, brown sugar and soy sauce. Mix until sugar has dissolved.

  3. Pour spice mix onto pork and mix until pork is covered.

  4. Place pork on a greased baking tray and bake for 60 -75 minutes until pork is tender and crispy.

  5. Remove from oven and add spring onions and coriander before serving on rice or with steamed greens.
